What's interesting is that PHP.net decided not to release the security fixes to PHP 5.2. The security flaws that were fixed may affect that release, which is end of life, so I recommend that you upgrade to PHP 5.3. PHP 5.3 has now been out for almost 2 years.
Now that PHP Pear 1.9.2 is in the repository, you should be able to install PHPUnit 3.5 without needing to manually upgrade Pear.
Important: the Yum repository has been updated with new signatures, requiring you to add the new key to your system in order for new packages to be validated successfully.
To do this, run the following command:
rpm -Uvh http://repo.webtatic.com/yum/centos/5/latest.rpm

Due to Webtatic.com's previous hosting provider disappearing, the website has now moved to Rackspace Cloud, as I know its important to have the repository available at all times.
The restoration of the website gave me some time to reorganise it to fit a more ideal structure, so now the website will no longer be a blog, but structured into standard pages, with this news section being used to inform of updates to the site or packages.
If there have been any concerns over the availability of the repository, I hope that the move to Rackspace should ease them.
At the moment, the repository is running on a December backup, which is missing the PHP 5.3.5 update, git 1.7.3.5 update, gearman and the mysql 5.1/5.5 packages. I hope to rectify this soon.
I may have to issue a new GPG key to sign RPM packages with, as I'm currently missing the existing one. I'll post an update if that is done.
